Open Saturdays | Walk-ins Welcome!

We will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, May 27th. Please plan your pets medication and food accordingly. Thank you!

We are pleased to announce that Pets4Life Animal Hospital now offers telehealth appointments for our veterinary clients. This new service allows you to connect with our veterinary team from the comfort of your home, making pet care more convenient and accessible than ever.

What Is Telehealth for Pets?

Telehealth gives you the ability to consult with one of our veterinarians or veterinary staff members virtually—using video or phone—about many common health questions and follow-ups. While a virtual appointment is not a substitute for a physical exam, it can be a great option for discussing issues such as:

  • Minor skin irritations, mild digestive issues, or ear problems
  • Behavioral concerns or training issues
  • Diet and nutrition questions
  • Post-surgical check-ins and medication refills
  • Follow up to in-person visits
  • General wellness

Why It’s Beneficial

  • Convenience: No travel, no waiting room—just expert care from wherever you are
  • Continuity of Care: Stay connected with your trusted veterinary team even when you’re away
  • Reduced Stress: Ideal for pets who get anxious about car rides or clinic visits. (Also ask about our in-home services if you have anxious pets)

Please note that there may be times when after a telehealth appointment, you still need to bring your pet in for an in-person exam. But telehealth helps to triage your issues and hopefully resolve them without a follow-up appointment.

When Telehealth Is Not Appropriate

Telehealth will not be appropriate for:

  • Emergencies such as trouble breathing, collapse, severe injury, or bleeding
  • Vomiting or diarrhea lasting more than 24 hours
  • Difficulty urinating or defecating
  • Sudden behavioral changes or pain
  • Any situation where your pet’s condition seems life-threatening
  • Any situation where a physical exam is necessary for a diagnosis

In these cases, please call us immediately or proceed to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

How to Schedule

Telehealth appointments can be booked just like regular visits—by calling our office or requesting an appointment online through our website at www.pets4.com. Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a secure video link and simple instructions for joining your virtual visit.

Please note that telehealth appointments are available for current patients only; pets must have had a physical exam at Pets4Life within the last year.

Appointments generally cost the same as a regular in-person visit.

We’re excited to offer this new way to support your pet’s health wherever you are. If you have questions about whether telehealth is right for your situation, our team will be happy to guide you.
