Our Team
Colton Brooks
Colton Brooks serves as our Doggy Daycamp Master Trainer. Colton has been partnering with Pets4Life to offer beginning and advanced obedience training for dogs and he has now partnered with Pets4Life Doggy Daycamp to assist in all aspects of our Doggy Daycamp - from training staff, establishing protocols to training dogs.
In addition to partnering with Pets4Life, Colton has the following experience:
- Colton Brooks Dog Training: Trainer, Owner, 2024-present.
- Brooks Canine Center: Master Trainer//Behaviorist, 2004-2024
Andrea Torres
Andrea Torres serves as the Head Counselor at Pets4Life Doggy Daycamp, where she combines her extensive experience and passion for animals to provide exceptional care and enrichment for pets. Before joining Pets4Life, Andrea gained valuable expertise in a variety of roles:
- VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital: Veterinary Technician and Inventory Manager (2020–2023)
- Oswego Animal Hospital: Kennel Attendant and Veterinary Technician (2017–2019)
- Aspen Dental Group: Remote Bilingual Customer Service Scheduler (2023)
Growing up in Illinois, Andrea has dedicated her career to caring for animals in hospital and daycare settings. Her hands-on experience includes veterinary assistance, animal handling, kennel care, and daycamp supervision. Andrea’s love for animals drives her to ensure that every pet she works with feels safe, loved, and well-cared for.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending quality time with her own dogs, exploring nature through hiking, photography, and visiting her family in Puerto Rico. Her commitment to animal welfare extends beyond her professional life, as she often volunteers to help animals in need and fosters a deep appreciation for the bond between pets and their owners.
Andrea’s lifelong passion for animals inspires her to make a positive impact on every pet and owner she encounters, bringing her energy, compassion, and expertise to all aspects of her work.
Jackson Grueber
Jackson Grueber is the Camp Coordinator for Pets4Life Doggy Daycamp. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Grueber gained valuable experience in several roles, including:
- Ruff Life Pet Service: Manager, Lead Hiker, and Trainer (2020–2024)
- Elite Ambulance: EMT (2019–2020)
- J&L Catering: Corporate Caterer (2017–2019)
A Chicago-area native and graduate of Roosevelt University, Mr. Grueber is a dedicated and compassionate professional with a deep understanding of animal behavior and body language. His expertise extends to both basic and advanced training, on and off-leash, and he is committed to providing reliable, attentive care to every pet he works with. Passionate about dogs and the people who love them, Jackson is excited to bring his skills and enthusiasm to the Pets4Life team.
Outside of work, Jackson enjoys spending time with his family—his daughter, partner, and their chihuahua mix, Tater Tot. A passionate outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys a variety of activities, from hiking and exploring the mountains to playing soccer and continuously expanding his expertise by learning and developing his knowledge of dog traits and behavior.
