Orphans of the Storm held an adoption event here, and many visitors met their newest furry family members! We also hosted a pet supply drive for them, and attendees brought generous donations. (They especially needed wet canned dog and cat food, paper towels, laundry detergent, dog and cat treats, Nylabones, KONG or other hard-to-destroy toys, and slip leashes.)

Guests dressed up their pets for a pet costume contest at 12:30 p.m. and won great prizes, took photos at our themed photo ops in the pumpkin patch, and crafted pet-themed holiday ornaments with Brownie Troop 48031.

Everyone enjoyed an interactive reptile exhibit, where they learned about—and even held—an exotic array of snakes, lizards, frogs, turtles, and bugs.

Visitors stopped by booths from favorite local pet service providers, including Pets4Life, Brooks Dog Training, House Rabbit Society, Your Dog’s Guru, Pet Supplies Plus, and many others.

Bonus: We even had food trucks in attendance, so the fun didn’t have to stop for lunch. 🙂
